MARINATED FETA
Guys you need to make this marinated feta recipe. It’s quick and you are going to love it with bread, on salads, or with fish and meat. And when you have eaten all the feta, use the marinade as salad dressing, or toss you veggies/fish in it before cooking. So good!
Ingredients (for a large jar):
- 2 block organic feta
- 1 tbsp oregano
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 1 chilli, sliced
- handful of fresh basil, chopped
- black pepper
- 150 ml extra virgin olive oil
Method:
In a mixing bowl, combine the oregano, lemon zest, lemon juice, chilli, basil, olive and a pinch of both salt and pepper.
Cut the feta into 2 cm thick cubes. Pop your feta into a glass jar.
Pour the marinade over the feta. Make sure all the feta is covered in olive oil - if needed add extra olive oil.
Close the jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
